271.740 vs 271.747 engines

The TSB for the leaky cam adjuster magnets/sensors is for the 271.747 engine. I have the 271.740 engine.

In Canada there's only one model sold, the C230, SC 1.8L, so 740 vs 747 isn't a C200K vs C230K, they are both C230K.

I ask cause the cam adjuster magnet/sensor has a different part number on that engine. I'm going to order one and see if the connector is the same and if it fits, and hopefully my engine doesn't blow up in the process.

The TSB also includes an isolation cable to prevent a future leak from damaging the wire harness. This is what I really want, since I don't want to order the same cam sensors and have them leak into a new engine harness after spending $1K to fix everything.

Since the TSB is for the 747, and the cam sensor part # is different, the dealer cannot garrantee the new harness will work. Its $40 to try, and worth it vs $1K to fix later on.
