A price around $20K would be better when you consider that they paid about $18 for the car, but $22k is not bad. The cheaper the better though. Good luck.

??? I don't see anywhere it was mentioned that they paid $18 for the car.

I've never heard of someone paying $18 (or $18k, which is what I think you meant) for a used Mercedes with that low of mileage ever.

To answer the question though, with 18K miles on the car, $21k out the door (including tax, title, licensing) would be a better price (even with the low mileage).

I bought a 2005 with close to 18000 miles for $23,000 in August which I thought was an ok price. If I didnt need a car so bad I probably would've tried to get it for $21,000. That would be a good price.

The price is within range for KBB, would agree with a previous post that if you can get it for 22K tax and licence included it would be a good deal.

That's not a bad deal, but the 04 is different from the 05.
