Automatic shift knob
I got a 2007 C280 Luxury loaner; noticed that the automatic shift knob is made of leather instead of plastic as in my 2005 Sport version.
Were the shift knobs changed for both versions in 2007? I kind of like the leather knob...it reminds me of one in the 2000 C230K sedan I had before.

it is alloy, not plastic as they said
and hopefully it is really alloy......
but anyway, I also like the shift knob on c280 better than mine
it should be the same, 05-07.
i have driven all three years c280 loaner,
and they have the same shift knob
