Ghost in the machine
Hi all, my 2001 C240 has been an excellent car with no problems to report until it was rear ended and repaired. Repairs included a new trunk floor panel and trunk lid, repaint both bumper covers and left rear quarter panel.
The car has now been giving a "Reduce Oil Level" message after being driven for about 10 mins. The fault shows up regardless of driving conditions or time of the day.
About 2 weeks ago, 2 new faults showed up along with the "Reduce Oil Level" warning. ESP is off and Brake assist is off, followed by the ABS warning light on the dash.
Has anyone had similar issues in the past? Could this be related to disconnecting the battery?
Please share any thoughts or ideas you may have.
