Unhappy Help on installing the headlights (dipped + main)

Hi, I'm kinda new to the forum, but been looking really close over everyone else's threads... a nice community.

Anyways, I've slightly confused as to installing the front dipped and mains headlamps (and I know what your gonna say..."Go and look at the other threads")...

I've been to the website that everyone's recommending: http://www.geocities.com/mercedeslighting/

And it's great, but i'm still confused about what they mean about "jar caps" and housing caps etc... (BTW its right hand drive where I live)...

I also need to install the side lights (W5W)...which i dont have a clue on...

So has anyone got any photos of how to install it? (I know its a big favour...)

Also...I'm settling on buying 2x pairs of Philips X-Treme 80% H7 Bulbs that come with free W5W Bluevision bulbs ---> are these bulbs good quality and how do they look (as im looking for safety/performance as well as looks)...

Cheers

I'm assuming you are having trouble with something as simple as changing a light bulb. First, it would help if you knew were the bulbs are. Directly behind the headlights is a large screw on cap that's a dust/weather cover and you unscrew that and remove it. I would guess that it's about 4" in diameter. This allows you access to the bulbs. Disconnect the wiring harness from the bulb by pulling straight out. The bulb is held in by a spring clip. It unclips by pushing on tab on the wire and dissingaging it from its clips. The bulb then literally falls out and reverse to put it back in.

The sidelights are access by removing the access panel in front of your front wheels. Last time I checked it was 3 screws and a half dozen or so push pins. Then you will have complete access to the side marker light bulbs and fog lights. The sidemarker lights are slightly different, disconnect the connector and twist the bulb and it comes out.
