defrost will not shut off

defrost will not shut off
Hello:
I just replaced my climate control unit with a OEM part. Now my defrost will not shut off. Hot air comes out the windshild, and passenger/driver side vents that face the windows. The center vent does have A/C cold air. I have pressed the "AC off" button for 5 seconds and still no change. Is there something I have overlooked?
I do have an appointment tomorrow morning at the dealer as a back-up.
