Euro Impact Strips...Chrome or No Chrome?
Does anyone know if Euro spec. impact strips for the doors and bumpers come with the chrome strip like US spec. ones do? I've read some places where you can order parktronic kits with Euro specs and you have the option of chrome or no chrome for the bumpers. I'm looking to get them for the entire exterior with NO CHROME. Any suggestions short of painting them or masking them?

if you get no chrome then it won't match the rest of the body with the chrome trim. you can get euro impact strips with or without parktronic through mbnl.com through steve.

I appreciate the suggestions. That's actually where I read the parktronic details. I don't have parktronic, but I do want the Euro strips with no chrome. I have gone with a black chrome hood star and black chrome boot lid star. I am ordering a black chrome grill and looked into the black chrome impact strips, but they said it can't be done because the pieces are too fragile to chrome independently. The only other chrome I need to worry about is on the window sills. I think I have a solution for that as well. I couldn't find a way to contact Steve at mbenznl.com. Does anybody have his email so I can ask him a couple questions re: this issue?

he responds to my emails. i asked him for strips too...they're $180 a set shipped and u need to pay in advance. thats without parktronic holes. $230 shipped with parktronic holes.

Lol...no i knew what i was getting myself into just dont think its worth ir to change the strips for $230 and then another $100 to paint and install... rather keep the clear corners..they both look neat tho..
