That "loopy screw thing" is a tow hook. It works in the rear bumper too…don’t ask how I know.
My advice: when a friend offers to give you tools just say, “Yes please, and thank you.”
You can never have too many.

lol i agree! i'm thinking bout painting one of the loopy things and putting it in the front to see how it looks just for ish and giggles. my friend has one on his bimmer and it looks good.
anyways i'm gonna keep whichever is newer in my garage and just the min tools i need to get by in the car. i remember having a full set when i bought the car as CPO but after a few visits to the dealer i've noticed that things have been goin missing....

you forgot about the 4" aluminum knurled threaded rod that fits into the wheel hub to align the holes and hang the wheel when changing. This is one the handiest items for those hubcentric bolts-only wheels. There is even a spot on the tool holder for it

I can only imagine how many cars have been damaged with the long and short bolt debacle.

BMW provides their owners with a fairly comprehensive toolkit.
MB provides their owners with a fairly comprehensive First Aid kit.
Ergo, BMW owners are more likely to be able to fix things that break,
and MB owners are more likely to hurt themselves...
[sorry, *I* thought that was funny]
