HID conversion vs. Factory Bi-x???
going to put up with that level of quality on my car. I drive many dark roads
here surrounding Seattle where street lights are few. i was fortunate enough
to have been able to drop in (near perfect fit) E55 bix projectors into my Depo.
the halogen projectors went into the garbage.

How hard was it to install other projectors into the DEPO lights? I have a pair of OEM X5 projectors sitting in my room and was wondering hwo hard it would be to retro-fit them in. :dunno:
headlight off the 203....coupe and sedan. All I need is to open it up and
take measurements. With the data, I would compare against the dimensions
of all the true HID projectors out there. I'm only willing to spend about $50
to buy one for this project but so far I've not seen any FS.
All that blather just to say that at this point, I don't know. The ease in
which such an HID retrofit can be made all depends on clearances, the
critical specs of the existing mounting posts, etc. Just about any of the
HID projectors can be made to fit inside anything. It's all labor, cutting,
fiberglass, JBWeld, etc to build up areas which is needed to support
the projector, yet still provides for beam adjustment.
W210 owners are super lucky since the mounting posts are 98% the
same spacing as the E55 bixenons. Just toss in several lock washers
and you're ready to sew up again.
