I go by tank/miles driven...
Computer seems to be a bit higher than actual mpg. I don't go by that. I just do miles driven divided by number of gallons filled up. Today I filled up 14.311 gallons and had driven 316.6 miles....so about 22 mpg...driving lot's of highway, and babying the throttle...

Average MPG: 22-23 (about 290-315 miles out a tank, mostly depends on weather)

Driving conditions: combined city and highway, like to rev the engine and step on the gas.
Would probably see better fuel economy if I drove slower

C230 (year): 05 manual
Average MPG: 27.7, because I like to shift at 2,000 rpms. haha
Driving Conditions: all sorts. I sometimes drive really relaxed, but still rev it to about 5,000+ rpms to pass people up.

Calculation based on fill up, just over 10L/100km
85% city, 15% highway.

My recent weekend trip:
~100 L
~1160 kms

8.62 L/100km (calculated)
8.51 L/100km (trip computer)

For 400 kms I was getting 7.21 L/100km on the highway doing 120 kmph. Without the city driving I could've gotten 700 kms to a tank.

I've filled up a few more times since the K&N install and perhaps it's just a clean filter that's doing it, but I'm continuing to get 1mpg more than before. 25mpg combined highway and street driving.
I noticed that when i tried the manual mode on the automatic transmission, it's not nearly as efficient.
