out of gas
Ok I was driving my moms c-class today and of course she gave it to me on E. I put it on the mode that tells you miles to empty and got home with like 1 or 2. My question is when it says 0 is that it the car stops, or is that when the reserve fuel starts?

when the light came on, that's when the reserve fuel start
you can tell when the car tell you how many more est. miles can you drive
and you can also tell when you fill up the car

Here's an insane idea for ya... PUT GAS IN IT!!!
Why would you borrow someones car, know it needs gas, but give it back on empty???
Not only would that be the absolute LAST time you drove my car, but I'd slap in the back of the head and take 5 bucks from ya for being an r-tard!

I agree with FORCEDINDUCTION.
Brabus_x2 and jmoney6 must not be very good to their mothers. Giving them back their cars on an empty tank... For shame.

huh?? i own the car, i have to empty my tank before i could pour Octane booster in, so i tried them couple times,and even i ask to borrow a car, i fill it back up full tank...

According to my manual this is when reserve starts and gives you some 8litres (dunno gallons) to go on. I usually go some distance (slowly) before filling - but that's not good, as posted by BadAssC230K's comment.....

When it says 0km, it goes actually for another 5-10km or so. Yes I tried by accident, in the middle of a snowstorm at 1am on Monday. That was embarrassing and very cold.

word esp that your mom lets you drive her benz you should put gas in it. the fact that its winter time if its that low sometimes your gas tank will freeze b/c you dont have enough gas more so if you put cheap gas in the car knowing that you gave the car back to her on E. put some gas in that beeotch.
