the 0% financing came from the dealer, not from MB. it was like that for all 2002 models left on the lot....wish a c32 was there though. oh well. there was C, S, and ML (lots of these) left. i almost got a S class, but it was just too big. i don't like ML...i don't like SUVs in general.

C320
1) 2001 C320
2) Financed
even tho I've had probs with it --- I plan to keep until Oct 2004 when warranty expires, or I may buy the extended warranty - then possibly up to 5 yrs, unless a new body style comes out....then switching to BMW, I think they are a little sportier and lowering is not required!

2002 C230 K
1) 2002 C230K
2) purchased
3) I'm planning on keeping it for eight years, but if it's holding together well, I'll probably keep it for longer (10-12 years). I'm going to buy another car in about three years. Currently, I'm thinking of a C320/350 (whatever it is then ) 4matic wagon, but might get an E-wagon if such a beast is available with the 4matic.
Cheers, BT

I can definitely see myself sticking with a Mercedes-Benz, although there are many other fine cars out there.

MY2001 C320
My W201 runs 175,000km (100,000+ miles), so I plan to run my W202 at least the same if not farther. If I can get 250,000km I'll get a badge from MB to put on the grille.
C320, cash.

1. 2003 C230K
2. 48 month lease
3. Keep it till the end of the lease then decide if:
a. Car still runs great, no problems, no dents/scratches, then possibly buy it, drive it until first major problem, fix and sell.
b. Abused leased car, turn in keys, hope there is a MB C-class TRUE coupe (not a hatchback) available by then to finance/lease.
c. Got more cash, upgrade to SL55 AMG, well more realistically a C32 AMG, well in my climate a ML .
d. Got wife/kids, ML or E.
e. Got laid off, cry and turn in keys , hope A-class in Canada by then or buy really old used MB and learn auto mechanics.
