Kinda odd to want to see moleskin, it's just a type of fabric, that's like asking to see velvet or gabordine in a picture. Here's a nice coat made of moleskin at Banana Republic. If you google moleskin and click on images you can see pants, skirts, bandages or sorts of products made from moleskin. Maybe a fashion forum maybe better suited for your questions.

You want to put them on your windows, cool, like curtains? Give it that Maybach look, nice.

OK, I know what you mean, just messin with ya. My tinter used 1" Velcro strips, the soft side of course. The advantage being they are already cut to the right size and have sticky tape on the back. Never had a problem with scratched tint or any mole attacks. He sanded the plastic before attaching it to give the sticky stuff more bite.

good idea maybe i'll grab a few brews and do this on a weekend and get new tint again, my front ones are scratched esp my drivers side looks horrible when the sun shines on the window and your looking from the inside

velcro FTW. just waiting for this summer to re-tint it. although the scratches doesn't bother me that much, but I kinda want slightly darker tint now.

do the door panels need to be removed in order to install these? just curious- because the local tint guy seemed pretty expensive to me. but, if he has to take the door panels off- his price would make a lot more sense.

I'm wondering is anyone has pics of how to take the door panel completely off? I just replaced the pull handles on both my front doors, but wound up not taking the door panels completely off for fear of breaking something. With the lower panel snaps completely detached from the door, I was trying to lift up (i.e. same direction the wondow rolls up) on the panel, but nothing was budging. I'm thinking about tint, but definitely want moleskin on the doors if I do so ...

Do the moleskin on the doors before you go to get it tinted. You will save $$ by doing it yourself. It just takes a few minutes for each door after you take panel off.

REI has moleskin. For about $8 I had enough to cover all 4 windows of my E320.

there's 2 screws in the door handle and 1 screw behind the SRS logo and the screw for the hinge cover (by this time you should have the pillar speaker cover removed on the front already). after removing the screws start by pulling the bottom of the panel away from the door. You'll hear loud pops, but that's just the plastic clips. After getting all the clip loose, lift up the door panel and away from the door. easier with your window down. It will be tight if you have never taken your door panel off.

so you were doing the stuff right. just need to use more force.

Hmmmm, I had the window up too. Yup, did all that other stuff, just found a small enough screwdriver to fit between the door panel and door. Next time I will be more brave ...
