Question for the Stereo Experts

My friend in the Philippines has a C-200 Kompressor equipped with an Audio 10 radio which he imported from Germany. He wants to know if a US/Canada OEM CD changer (trunk installed unit) from a 2002 SLK will interface with his Audio 10 (Euro spec).

It happens that someone in Vancouver is selling his CD changer, so the question is being raised.

If not, can you recommend what he should do? Buy a new head unit to replace the OEM Audio 10? TIA!

Many people on the board are using the Audio 10 to control the MB-Alpine cd player. All the current MB classes use the same player, except possibly the ML.

as far as i know, the part number for the slk stereo system is older than the c class. if i remember correctly if the part number starts with 203-xxx-.... then it is compatible.
