Need honest opinion on C200K
hi people,
im a noob here and planning on buying my first c200k ...its a used 2001 model with about 62k on the clock.
its run out of the factory warranty...so i guess my question is ...i need honest feedback from owners on the general reliability of these cars (i.e: what are the common problems....and what to look out for when buying a 2nd hand c200??)
Also at 62K ..what are the major components that needs to be replaced on the next service?? cost??
im debating whether to buy the c200 or a bmw E46...but for what its worth...i personally prefer the look of a merc.

p/s: i've heard bout electrical probs with the sunroof...but the car im looking at doesnt have a sunroof...and as for drastic climate changes...im in Perth W.Australia...so the only sudden change is when it rains on a pissin hot day...which is not often

2001 c200k with kleemann pulley
i picked up a 2001 c200k with 80k (km) last yr ... so far running pretty well ... i have 2-3 occassions that the car acturally cut out after some hard driving in hot weather in sydney (not sure if its related to weather though) ... other than that its been fine ... despite some mods
