H&R Sport Spring #52792
Does anyone know or recommend where I can find these for a great price? I saw them on Ebay for about $228.00 but I'm kinda leary gettin them on there.
I've been reading that if I put these on, I could ruin my struts and shocks?![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Thanks guys!

Ive got a set of AMG front struts Im selling. very few miles on them. I used the same springs with them and it worked great.

That’s an honest street price for those H&R springs. Don’t let them gouge you on S&H.
It is not necessarily the case that lowering springs will ‘ruin’ your struts and shocks.
If you’re merely seeking a sharper appearance for boulevard cruising and nothing more, chances are you’ll be okay if its mileage is less than 25k. It just depends on what you ultimately intend to do with it and how you’d like it to respond. IMHO, the OE dampers are flaccid. When they are subjected to even less jounce travel than MB intended, they're quickly overwhelmed during any spirited encounters. If you like to get after it and you’re not supplying the R&R labor, it’s probably more cost-effective to upgrade both the springs and dampers concurrently. I’ve swapped springs, pads, dampers, and ancillary suspension hardware more frequently than I should admit…all in an effort to obtain a favorable combination. Since you’re local, you are welcome to try mine to see if it will suit your purposes.
Let us know more specifically what it is you seek from your SS, and perhaps we can spare you some aggravation or a bloody knuckle.

I'm looking for something comfortable for a family. My Koni/H&R setup on my old rav4 was great for turning and very sporty even if it weren't an SUV, but way too bumpy. I'm looking for:
- lower stance simply for the look.
- equal or better performance (less nose dive, less roll, etc)
- comfort.
How long would my stock struts/shocks last me with H&R's?
I hear Eibach's are a bit rougher. You agree?
Teins too soft?
