I been using my sunroof even in the colder weather. I went to open the sunroof yesterday, and it won't go back in one fluid motion. It goes back in 1 inch increments at the moment. As far I as know, I haven't done anything that should have caused this.
Does anyone have any great ideas?

Same with mine last week - inch by inch. But once reached the end of the rail it returned to normal op. No repeat since.

You need to reset your sunroof
Push it to tilt upwards and keep the switch pushed up for 1-2secs
That will reset it.... I think that was the way.
If it doesn't work, it's in the manual......

this happens to me.....and it was on a DAMM HOT DAY...i couldnt even close the shades..but after a fredays...it work fine again...

at least i learnt a lesson..NEVER open your shades on sunny days....just in case it doesnt close


Also..my windows went crazy yesterday..when i try to close it (the pax side)...it went up..and then went down 2 inches!....after a while..it return to normal..

its a service issue. you need a new control unit. i have a 2001 and just had to have all that replaced. call your dealer. the reset thing where you hold it up for hree seconds to re-sync it is just a temp fix, it will screw up again when you turn the car off.

That's not true at all. It's always possible, but synchronizing the windows and sunroof is not a temporary fix. It is the way to let the control module know how far the windows have to go until they are closed. The manual tells you how to synchronize everything. With the window going up and coming back down a few inches, if it is fine now, don't worry about it. It doesn't need anything.
