A waxed car does have slightly less aerodynamic drag which could be the reason for the improved performance.

i have to admit, this is the best looking c class ive seen, not overdone, just about right and perfect. i have a 2004 c230 sport sedan and the only thing ive done so far is placed the brabus front bumper. would a black grill look good on it since it is silver? any pictures out there?

Full on black out coming anytime soon? Headlight housing in black chrome, windows fully tinted? nice smoke overlays on the fogs and rear end? Some black laquior on the rims? Leaving nothing but the chrome trim on the doors and bumpers and a satin lip on the rims? I think that would look effin awesome maybe even the tinniest drop. You can then change from Black series to Stealth.
As for performance increase from detailing, its either the decreased drag or the air just stopping and goin **** that looks good.

I want to do some sort of blackout, but I think I'd rather not spend the money... Headlight housing, that's a no-- I'm too chicken to open that up. I don't like smoke overlays for anything but the tails and I've actually been considering doing the tails. I've been thinking of blacking out the chrome striping, but we'll see... I would love to paint the rims but the curbs need to get taken out first and I don't want to spend that much money anymore... As for the drop, Blake will agree with you

the oem iPod integration kit so that you can plug your iPod into the car and control it via the steering wheel.

For good measure, some photo-***** gloomy day pics (I obviously played around with this isht on p-shop):

Some comments about the pics, it was already drizzling when I was taking the pics and the dealer had actually just washed my car after I had gotten a free oil change

no, I was ****ing late to a thing b/c of that. I took apart the lining and then took off the oem plate insert...

then, I looked at the one I had and it didn't have the same push-pins etc. at all. so, I just put the stock one back together...

I'll have to either figure something out to put it on, double sided tape, or sell this thing to either Mike, MJ, Jose or you

hmm...now it reminds me the euro plate holder might have been different for 01-04 and 05-07. The trunk had a different part number as far as I know when I had the rear end accident that allowed me to replaced the trunk lid if you remember. The trunk stops on the side is different compare to the old one, so maybe even the plate holder is different.
