after market changer
has anyone had any luck hooking up an after market 6disc changer in the c230 coupe? could you use the factory wiring harness, etc. also is it worth the difference in price over the factory unit?

i got an alpine in my 02' c240 and my bro has one his 02' coupe. both alpine. i don't know about the harness though, but your local stereo shop should be able to do it. its uses the rf module to control, works off radio station , steering wheel volume control work, but you can only the tracks with rf module.
i only paid $300 installed, in glove box, and probably much faster.

thank you for your reply. could i ask you how your sound is? it used to be that when you used an fm modulator that the sound could only be as good as your tuner. has it gotten better and do you like it?

sound is excellent, i have bose , it bumps for a factory system.
my bro does not have bose in his coupe, but he added an alpine amp and it makes a world f difference in sound. he has not yet added a sub.
i would recommend it. cheap and great sound, plus in the glove box.
