IC help?

Hi,

I'm planning to install a custom IC to my CDI, and I need your help guys, since there is no IC kit for my CDI I'm looking on the 230k IC kits to see if I could fit one to my car, or just the pipes!
IC I can buy on here, but have someone to handbuilt some pipes to the IC its a bit difficult (time/money needed).

So I already searched, but can anyone provide me the dimensions of the different petrol engines you use please, and if any one have a custom IC installed please advise me.

PS: I'm expecting getting some extra 15-20Hp only with the IC, allready have 180Hp (no smoke and smoke alot of petrol cars ) but with some difficulties to have the rigth misture/temperatures with the stock IC when putting more power.
At the same time I install the IC i will also install a garret VNT22, 250Hp wanted

Don't know what you will get from a bigger IC on a turbo diesel. I actually lost power on the C230 with a bigger IC. Make sure you measure your boost before and after to make sure you are not losing pressure in the IC design. I doubt you will see anything near 15-20HP, during normal driving you will see no gain, in very aggresive driving on a warm day you may see a 5HP difference. What you can do that's cheaper is put IC misters in, same effect. I had use the windshield washer fluid reservoir and added a second pump (there's a spot for a second pump if you don't have headlight washers). Then wire up a switch to trigger it, some tubing and agriculture misters and walla. This way you get the cooling effect when you want it without any loss of pressure from a poorly designed IC. If you see big gains, you may want to add an IC, if you don't, adding an IC won't help.

I know if I hada a much much bigger IC It wouldn't give any benefits in terms of power, I just want to install a better IC to fresh the air in hot days and to help to rise the power a bit more, and when I get the bigger turbo It will help alot.
I allready simulated what you sayed, when in the dyno, we sprayed the IC with fresh water and the result was almost 10Hp and a better mixture (less smoke)

I found that all w203 and w209 with 4 cylinder kompressor or CDI have the same IC, even also the 5 cylinder c270cdi. I looked on EPC and it says A203 500 06 00 (could be an old reference but now I know they are the same)

What about sizes, any one know the size of the stock IC?

PS: In Europe there is many Audi/Vw engines 1.9TDI heavily modified, some with 300Hp or more!!! If those cars with only an bigger IC and Turbo can reach 250Hp easily, in my case a 2.2L can reach it better, I think!
