I just replaced steering column module. The new one needs to be reprogrammed.
Does anyone know how to reprogram this controller?

For what car? What steering column module?

 

It is a 2012 S550 W221. The controller sets right behind the airbag and all the steering buttons connects to it.
I called the dealer and they said the new one needs to be reprogrammed. Out of curiosity, is there a gadget I could buy to reprogram it myself?

 

i have a 2003 c240, i recently swapped the steering wheel/airbag/controls over from a 2006 c230. from the 4 spoke to the 3 spoke sport wheel. all control buttons seem to be activating multiple times per press. pressing the airbag doesn't activate the horn but instead acts as an additional control button. i have no idea whets going on with this thing
