Unhappy Any Quick Fixes For This Porblem?

lol...just happen today! I put gas in my car and while i was driving it says 0 gas...and the orange low gas indicator is not even on. Everything else in the instrument panel works fine. Also on the LCD screen it says:

mileage:........

it doesn't even say how many miles of gas is left. I'm sure its probably some electrical problem. Anybody know of any quick fixes before i take it to a shop? Also if anybody knows a good shop that won't rip you off please let me know!!

thanks guyz!!

disconnect battery for a 1/2 hour?

That same thing has happened to me one time while I was driving. The next time I stopped and started my car is was working again. I plan on mentioning it the next time I get it serviced.
