Smog Passed!

Woo hoo! Not even close to failing. Measured emissions were less than average on all. Took the smog tech a little while to complete as he wasn't quite sure what to do since he couldn't measure timing or verify all emission parts.

I was a little worried since I had a couple CELs that made my engine run wonky for a while. Just thought I'd post in case anyone else was curious about theirs.

How many miles on your car?
Have you had the cat replaced?

Good job.
When I posted on this, I was supposedly the 1st coupe owner to get smogged...you can find my thread..I passed NP, with 120K miles, but with new cat, recent plugs, and oil change. I have the SS header though, and not sure if has CARB approval. I modified the stock manifold shield to avoid issues. I came in below average for emissions I was told.

~61.5K
Original Cat and O2 Sensors. I was a bit worried about these since my engine was not running correctly and required multiple trips back to the dealer. It was a possibility that I could have fouled my O2 or Cat. I replaced plugs, oil change, air filter, and dealer fuel injection cleaning (not ultrasonic or calibrate ) at 55K. I replaced the fuel filter at about 59K

I did enjoy watching the tech scratch his head wondering what to do about finding sensors and other parts as I just went to a place near my work which usually has much older cars.

2.5" Magnaflo generic. I didn't ask for oversize, he just did it.
It got way louder after that. Just glad to know it's doing it's job.
