Question?
What is that black material that you installed the tv/stereo into? I assume it was custom made? Is it made of Carbon Fiber? I'm about to install a Alpine CVA-1005 and DVA-5200 (DVD) in the dash of my C320 and was curious if you have found any manufacture that make dash kits for aftermarket radios. Or I guess my install shop will just have to custom make one like you did. Looks great!!

We used Black plexy glass...works well and easy to deal with. Rob, the guy that does most of all my performance is trying to make one for the cars. Like I said in my earlier post, we are basically using my car as a ginnie pig on stuff that we can make/due.
Let me know if you want one of these dash peaces...I can get you all the stuff you need and just ship it too you

yes benzy320, i have the stereo system from my last vehicle (expedition). It is all just sitting in two big box's in my room...just itching to get installed. I just need the money to install them...that's the hard part. I also have (4)Boston Pro's 6.5 and Soundstream Amps...however my old car had 3 12" JL's and I sold them because I knew they wouldn't fit in the benz (i need to get to my spare tire). I think I will buy (2) Alchemy Alumapro 10's for my sub's (I've heard good things). How soon I get all this stuff depends on how much the stereo shop will charge me.
