Scrapage with lip

Just wondering how bad do you guys scrap with a lip on.. cause i was thinking about buying one but damn i scrap my bumper sometimes just the way it is right now.. So do you guys just have to learn a new slower method of driving or what? And i know you have to not pull in all the way in parking lots cause that will probably rip that lip right off

just sand it down, buff it, and repaint. good as new. concerning driving style, im guessing you have to take the same precautions with a lip as a lowered car.

-dont you hate when your bumper scrapes? like a knife in your stomach...

ever since i got rims and lower on my car my driving style completely changed...

when you see pot hole, dodge it NO MATTER WHAT

going on driveway, go about 2~3MPH (sideway)

speed bump sloowww all the way down almost to a complete stop and get over it carefully...

i get Honk by Soccer Mom a lot of time because i was waay to slow, o well at least better than repainting my whole bumper

I would image everyone here with a lip spoiler scrapes here and there. You will learn to recognize what you can and can't clear and then remember to avoid those areas. Fortunately it's the bottom and you really can't see it without focusing right on it.

With my Zed I have to slow to almost a complete stop, angle my way up the driveway everytime I come home. The bottom has scratches all over it. I guess once the bumper gets to beaten up, it just has to be replaced.

I always get honks and angry people when I slow down for bumps. There are huge speed bumps and dips here and I'm running stock suspension and wheels

Just open your eyes and pretty much slow down or stop to dips or bumps. I usually park with rear in first so I don't have to worry about hitting the parking stopper.

hmm very tru and i've driven some damn low cars and never thought of doing it for that purpose although sometimes i would just hit the exhaust on the parking stopper but i guess thats better then rippin the bumper off
