'06 c280 siruis question...

have an '06 c280 with the factory sirius radio installed.

after i preset a station, and then want to change the station, it will only scroll through similar stations for some reason. for example, i love old school hip-hop, so i listen to backspin (#43) a lot. however, when i want to change the station to say a talk radio station, i find that i have to press the "pty" button and scroll through the choices, find "talk/news" or whatever it is, and then go from there.

is there any way to default the radio to always scroll through all of the stations available and not just certain genre's of music?

thanks!

Use the up/down buttons on the steering wheel, it scrolls all stations. Or, just input the station number directly by pressing * then the digits of the station using the numeric keypad.

i tried using the steering wheel buttons, but that seemed to do the same thing and only scroll through certain types of music.

i will try the * thing, and get back to you.

thanks!
