Quick question, though - do you guys think that the sports grill large MB star is a bit out of place - looks good on the coupe, but what do you guys think about the sedan? I like it some days and seems out of place on others.

The right side pic in the first example, and the bottom pic in the second example are plain "sports grilles". I think they take a "stock" sedan grille, which has the single vertical slat running down the middle, cut a circle out and glue in the round piece that holds the star.

To me the stock C 240 Classic grille is the best looking on the sedan. I don't like the Elegance or Avantgarde grilles - they are WAY too chrome for my liking.
So I say keep the upright star hood ornament and get a C Classic grille.

I like the middle, but try this:
The M-class has the entire grill blacked out rather than just the horizontal slats. Blackout the crome trim too and see how that looks.
There is a pic of a C230K with the entire grill (expect emblem) blacked-out... can't remember where I've seen it.
