I know I will be stoned for asking this, and I really did try to find it on the site, but I am going to ask a question I am sure has been asked hundreds of times already.

I have a 2002 C-320. I bought it with Comand with the intentions of adding the voice module and the v-60 phone interface (I already have the phone). Does anyone know where I can buy these items without going to my dealer who will surely gouge me?

Does anyone know the difficulty level of installing the voice kit? Does anything special have to be activated on the vehicle?

Is the phone a Mercedes V60 phone? If not, it won't work. You can buy the PSE, the compensator, the antenna switch, the bracket, etc. from autoclass.net or from clairparts.com. Here's what you need:

VEHICLE COMPLETER KIT Part # Q6820712 -- $200
OPTIONAL VR KIT Q6820577 -- $480
CORE KIT Q6820707 -- $600
V60 Cradle SHORT Coil Cord Kit Q6820724 -- $200

At clairparts, you can probably get all of that for $1,184 -- $1,258 depending on whether they give you a 20% or 15% discount. You have to ask them for the internet or wholesale price.
