Hi Guys new c220 coupe owner here with a noob question with regards the audio 20 Headunit.
Ive searched hi and low for accurate info but couldnt find exactly what i need.
the car is a 2005 model. With just the audio 20 cd unit - no factory amps that i can find.

Im after replacing the speakers and adding amps to power them and a small sub in the boot

Ive read posts about using jl cleensweep and other brands (audiocontrol) in order to convert the speaker feeds to low level rca/phono

from what i can see the 6.5" door speakers in the front of the door have a feed from the stereo and also the front tweeters have a sepperate feed.

the question is, is the feed to the 6.5" a full signal feed ? which i can use with the cleensweep.

or do i need to look at audio controls lc8 so that i can add in the sepperate feed of the tweeter ?

if you guys have already used one of these adaptors then im sure youll be able to answer this easily for me.

Great web site and getting to know the car slowly.
cheers !

If you're adding component speakers, it should come with a crossover that splits the signal into high and low for you.
