Re: Auxillary input

Like he said, you only get an aux input with Comand. However, BlitzSafe is promising an interface/adapter that will provide the stock MB cassette/CD changer setup with an aux input. They told me it should be available in January. I'm hoping that estimate is accurate.

I have no affiliation with this company, I just heard of them from a friend who bought one of their adapters for his car and is very happy with it (not an MB). If they are working on such a thing, that'll be great news - I almost sprung for the expensive Comand option just so I can could plug an iPod into my car directly, even though I don't need a navigation system.

What the...!?! I haven't seen that, I had no idea! Could be a difference between browsing on Windows vs. browsing on a Mac (which is what I'm using). I also have virus software running, and I don't see any warnings at all when I browse that site. I don't get any warnings on my PC, either (just tried it), and it too has virus software running.

Are you absolutely sure it was a real virus, and not just a generic warning from your virus scanner? Did it ask you to download anything, or try to run some kind of executable? The company didn't seem disreputable or anything, so I don't know why in the world they'd intentionally place a virus on their web site. On the other hand, they'd be pretty strange if they didn't know it was on there...

My sincere apologies if it is a virus, I have no connection with that site whatsoever, I was just posting info that I thought others could use. Sorry...

It is possible that they don't know there is a virus on their server. Did anyone send them an e-mail about it?
