Door Lock Malfunction -C230 Sedan

Ok, so I searched the forums, and this has been discussed already, but let me explain what happened...

While driving, I heard something come from the left/driver side...It sounded like a box or something fell from my rear seat, onto the floor and under my seat. So, I reach back there, but feel nothing. I stop, get out, and look under my seat, stick my hand underneath, still nothing...Hmm....

So, I open my trunk to get my CD case, get back in the car and drive off...As I reach the speed where the doors automatically lock, I notice the driver's door lock going insane. It moves rapidly up and down. (I know this issue has been discussed already)

So, I sat in the car, unlocking/locking, and it continued to go nuts...Even the central locking button on the dash failed to work a few times...

But my question is, could something maybe have fallen in the door, or would it be related to something (like a motor) under my seat? My driver seat controls haven't been working for months anyway, could this have something to do with it? Thanks...

Hmm...Shawn, perhaps you are correct. I thought the problem was somehow again related to the $12 partial load vent hose. I was mistaken, I must have the lock actuator replaced promptly. Cheerio!
