Help needed - what is this mystery object???
This clip (?) fell on my foot when I pulled off this afternoon. It must've fell out from under the dash above the driver's footwell.

Any idea what it is and where it goes?

BTW, the little bent over part of the clip (closest to the quarter in pic 3) looks and feels like it has some grease on it.
