Ceramic Brake Pads for '05 C230 Sport

i recently ordered a set of Friction Master (by Morse) ceramic brake pads for my '05 C230 sport. i bought the CMX872 based on posts i read here, but they do not fit. so, by process of elimination, i'm figuring that i need the CMX1121, but i can't find them anywhere in stock online. i've tried parts america and advance among others. i've also emailed morse, but they've been slow to respond. does anyone have any suggestions on where to buy these pads, or something comparable?

i really like the idea of spending less than $60 to get the brake dust out of my life. any help would be greatly appreciated!

There's a thread about these.Do a search. I bought mine from Auto Zone. Took about 3 days to get them. The pads you bought are for C240 & pre-facelift C230K's I did mine fronts about 3 weeks ago & am very happy with them and the front wheels are no dirtier than the backs now. They were less than $40 from Auto Zone and are under the Morse brand name

Brake wear notification reset?

ok, so i got the pads (CMX1121 is the correct part number for '05 c230 sport) from advance and had them installed at the gas station across the street from my work. they seem to work fine, but i'm still getting the brake wear notice from the computer when i start the car.

i'm worried this may be an indication that they didn't install the sensor properly.

any advice on how i should handle this? should i take it back to the garage and ask them to check the sensor? or is there a simpler reset option that i should be looking in to?

they either didn't replace the brake wear sensor or didn't install it properly. Remember, there's only one for the fronts on the passenger side.
