urgent help please!!car don't passes 3000 rpm
hello .. i'm new here at the forum but i would need some urgent help because there are no good mechanics here were i live and it's very expensive go to mercedes dealership.. ok now the problem: my car was running fine until two days ago. then after that it just didn't passes 3000 rpm.. i discovered here this forum and some of the answers were that it may be the MAF.. i went to put the car on diagnose machine.. the diagnostic? one error in car memory : the MAF sensor.. ok after that apenned the weird part.. i went to mercedes and bought a new MAF..instaled it and put the car in the machine again to delete the error..(because before instaling the new MAF it won't just delete it)
.. and this is the weird part the error continued to not to be able to delete it and the car is exactly the same.. but sometimes when i drive it stops doing the limp and the car drives fine.. but a few seconds after just starts doing limp home mode again.. if anybody can help me with this please do it.. because tomorrow i will have to go to another workshop to put it to fix and don't want to buy more unnecessary parts thanks

What specific codes did you get? Also, what country are you in? Not that much diesel experience here but you never know. I know on gasoline engines, if you unplug the MAF completely the car should run pretty well but obviously throw a MAF code. If the car runs better, then the MAF is a strong possibility, if the car runs the same, the MAF is a weak possibility. Without the codes, it would just be a wild guess. Also, I find that MB's are very slow at deleting codes. I've seen it take a minute just to reset codes.

Cant rev it more than 3000 rpm . But diffrent from u i dont have a check engine light one . It just wont rev . Anyone to help me as well ??
