P0170 and p0171 help!!!!!
i have replaced maf and it made car run awful. i then disconnected all together it ran fine. Then i reinstalled orginal maf and it runs fine. i am now thinking vaccum leak. I need some help on this one!!!! thanks in advance.

what car do u have?
if you have a c230 from 2003-2005, take it to the dealer, there is a recall, and they will replace your engine vent hoses free of charge...

Just tell me you didn't get it from the guy on ebay that sells knock-offs with the correct part number printed on them. Those are worse than junk and your car is just trying to spit it out.
It's so hard to come up with the right answer when we don't have a clue what engine, year, country you have but since it's probably not a 2003-2005 C230, if you unplugged the MAF and the engine ran the same, then it's not the MAF and probably a vacuum leak. Other than the infamouse problems with the 2003-2005, it's a tough find as it can be pinhole in size. Dealers can inject smoke to detect the leak. Old school way is to use an unlit propane tank and follow common leak points and see if the engine rpm goes up.
