Just look at kbb.com, the economy is slow so unless you sell at close to trade-in price, it will take a long time. I know people ask $20k for these cars but the listings are there a long time. If you trade it at a dealer you will probably get $2-3K below that. Also, everyone thinks their car is in excellent condition but if you read the fine print, only about 5% of all cars are excellent. These are cars that have been completely gone over by a dealer and prepped for sale, they literally look like a new car.
