Hi all, following are images of my installation, since I posted on this forum in January 2011. Sorry for the long delay as I was delayed doing the installation and getting on to produce the images

Hope they are O.K. and make sense. Please let me know otherwise.

I thank you all for the guidance that allowed me to make this successful installation. This post is my contribution to this site.

**NOTE**: due to upload file limits this is first 6 images out of total of 11 images (will post next 5 images following this reply)

I put the readout unit hanging from the headliner at the back in the center and works great, easily seen and looks OEM.

I put my control unit in the floor of the trunk where all the other electrical units are located as it is out of the way and less apt to get hot against the sheet metal as the sun beats down on my car. It is under the plastic cover at the back of the trunk, lots of places to secure it there

Yea. That's a good consideration. I suppose our Australian weather is not as extreme a compared to USA. I should have considered the location of the module. Oh well, next time, if on another project. Thanks

Hi WaveyKat,
I bought my kit from Malaysia a year ago, see my post of 8 Jan 2011. I decided to have a paintshop match the sensors to my car. Cost A$45.00.

Are you wanting to mod yours? If you need any further info on my project, pl. pm me. Cheers & good luck.

Totally forgot I had the display...so it turned into a fun project all these years later with my daughter! She had fun helping me take apart the lower dash panel and learning/and running the wire.

I fit it into an OEM PTS display housing that needed to be modified. I also had to modify the original plate to add the thumb wheel and vent. The plate I had wouldn’t hold my Harmon Kardon speaker - so I modified mine to work!
