Nice write up Advans.
I'm thinking of carb-fib'ing the panel where the windshield wipers are. Namely the part that sits between the windshield itself and the engine bay. The wiper arms would need to be removed, but I dont think the sill itself would'nt be too hard to cover in carbon!

OMG! This past summer when I was in Beverly Hills I saw a CL with matte black trunk, roof, and hood. Ever since I was thinking how it would look on my W203.
Now seeing those pictures I WANNA DO IT!
Do you have an estimate on how much it would cost? Cause I def won't be able to do it myself =(

I think covering that much surface area with CF vinyl will look a little too much and most likely look cheap. I am getting my roof done in matte black. I just think people are getting over the top with wrapping everything in CF. Just my opinion.

Oh I do too. I am getting my C32 intake wrapped in actual CF, not vinyl. More $$ but looks 10x better. I want to get my interior trims done but I have the Orion Gray interior so idk how the dark cf would compliment the light interior. CF wrap looks good from a distance I guess,
carbon fiber can match ligh colors as long as they are silver, white, blue. . . but not orion gray

Yes thats true. I still plan on getting my roof matte black though because I am going for the black and red theme which will look good.
Ya thats why I havent tried to do it because I know it will look off.

No not yet. I have a few upgrades to do before I post pics. This is what I have to do by Jan timeframe.
-Send my C32 calipers to be painted Brembo red and then install them.
-Matte Black roof and chrome strips around entire car.
-Black 18in or 19in wheels, contemplating on brands and styles right now.
One those 3 things are completed then I will post pics and then all I need to do it upgrade my exterior with a bodykit, either AMG or Brabus.

-Black 18in or 19in wheels, contemplating on brands and styles right now.

This vinyl roof idea is intriguing, how much would it generally cost? On a silver car, with only external mods a CF lip and clear corners, would gloss or flat black look best?
Advans, the black on black matte vinyl is killer man, i think my jaw dropped when i saw the pics. Personally i would have left all the trim chrome though, i understand the murdered out look, but gotta have some flash to it.

not all CF vinyl are the same, so you better order 2 samples (gloss, flat) and try them out to see which one matches the best your CF trim/lips/spoilers..
