Driver door arm rest coming apart

Driver door arm rest coming apart
Bad news...
Yesterday I was getting into my car and I notice on the drivers door arm rest section the vinyl/leather.. what ever it is, is coming off the arm rest! I fear I will need to replace the whole door panel for at least a G unit.
Has anyone else had this problem? The rest of my interior is excellent so this really bothers me.

There should be no need to replace the whole door panel if you are willing to do a bit of DIY work. Please provide pictures so that we may better advise as to how to proceed.

Sorry I forgot to update this...
I took the whole panel off the car and found that the arm rest section is completely integrated with the panel. So I pulled a little more of the arm rest leather up, cleaned the foam and leather bottom, and reglued it with 3M exterior trim adhesive. So far it’s holding pretty well, but if it separates again I going to take the door panel to an auto upholstery shop.
