Any wheel restoration shops in So. Cal?

I'm looking for a shop that will fix the curb rash on my wheels. Are there any shops in the So. Cali or Orange County area?

You can try Harbor Motorsports in OC. Ask for Edison or Jon.

You can use Son Tran, he does mobile wheel repair and is considered one of if not the best at wheel repair in Southern California. Also his prices are very competitive for his level of work. Google "Son Tran wheel repair" and you will find various threads about him on different forums, a couple with pictures as well.

or you can try TWS, they refinished my wheels and they look spankin' new. it was around 60-80$ a wheel i think? i don't know if that's steep, but it's good work.

j/w shake, how would you know about harbor if you're in michigan?

You can check to see if there is a Mobile Wheel Repair franchise in the area. (I assume there is at least one in SoCal since there is one in KC. There's not much KC would have that SoCal wouldn't...except cows and great barbecue.)

www.mobilewheelrepair.com

I haven't used them (yet) so I don't know about pricing or quality of work (I just noticed one of their trucks the other day). But, they come to you, and can presumably get the work done while you're at work, etc. So they probably beat anyone else in terms of convenience.

I've bought a few from them personally and they were very very helpful/awsome customer support via phone/email. I've heard many good things about them too around the forums.

Most MB c class wheels are painted/lacquered. I bought some staggered c class sedan rims for my coupe -- wanted the stagger. They were sort of scuffed up. Look excellent now. Call Alon at MB Encino 818788 0324 ( I think that's the number, I call them all the time.) Also Alon has a lot of my "spare" coupe parts when I redid the console in MB burl wood and other parts. He has my smoked side lenses. Don't know if you have a coupe or not; doesn't matter, his wheel guy did a great job. I'll be in soon for the recall on the hoses. Also, I negotiated with MB through Alon for a lot of good deals on service. He hooked me up with a working vanity light and new visor for my coupe (I'm a girl who needs to put on her lipstick at night). Good guy.

In May (coming up SOON) I am going to go to Alon and their body people to fashion me a new CLC grille that I'm guessing will fit the coupe with some adjustments. I like them over there. Some dude hit the side of my car with a heavy box and MB ENcino took care of the huge dent over my fender for free because it happened on their lot. Good guys.
