Ok some background info, Ever since i got my 2002 C320 last November, I've been reading the board everyday so i may be a newbie in posts but this forum gave me so much info about the car and what can be done with it. So far my mods include:
1. Tinted windows
2. CL Grill/flat hood emblem
3. W463 Command with bluetooth adapter and Aux input (Got it from a buddie who drives a G and decided to upgrade his headunit) Thanks to the members who contributed to this Mod, it was a breez for me since searching this forum solved all my problems. Only problem now is i can't get it to be accurate, i think it might be the gyro adapter.
4. Depo Xenon Headlights, they work great, i havent set my xenon to present yet and my xenon dont flicker or anything.

ok so after installing the command and xenon, i took my car to the stealership for service A and to program the xenon and navigation. My SA was tryin to convince me that its not possible and all this BS blah blah blah, then i showed him the instructions on how to do it and he still didnt want to do it. after a long argument i talked to the tech and the tech said that he can only do the Xenon. When i came back, my SA wanted to charge me $120 for the 10 mins of programing!!! I tried to get them to do it for free but it was hopeless case. I left determined to find another way to do it, Finally i found this shop specialized in bimmers and benzes who has the star diagnostic tool, they agreed to program whatever i want for $100 an hour and do my Service for another $100..

My question now is What can be programed, I want all the lil cool features? Can I lower the car using star diagnostic?

i wish i could get that remaining fuel in gallons feature activated, that would be pretty slick.

got the mirror tilting and easy exit seats though.

Not on the 07's. They deactivated quite a few features on the 07's.

Here is my list so far;
1. Xenon=present
2. Command Programming, pretty much enabling everything.
3. the looking sound

what else can be done? If you search "Star diagnostic" it will come up with some threads about lowering the car using star diagnostic, is that possible for my '02 C320?

Assuming you don't have a built in phone, disable the annoying
"NO PHONE" menu. Instructions are around here somewhere.

Lowering? No, that like an S class thing.
We got normal springs etc. nothing hydraulic.

The chirp supposedly kills the panic button, which I find useful for finding my car from time to time. It would also be nice to know that the car actually locked, but I kinda like the silent thing.

Interestingly enough, there is a 2004 C240 4Matic on our lot that beeps once when you unlock and three times when you lock it and the panic feature still works.

Mine works too, but it's an 06 tho.

mine beeps and panic works too. i had alarm trouble (it would not work) and I'm guessing whatever they replaced it allows both chirp and panic to work.

If you have power seat you should have the function easy exit. I have it. I set it in the instrument cluster menu.

get the Seat belt beep off! you will see a warning in the IC saying "FASTEN DRIVER SEATBEALT"

Funny that my car came without this warning, and I had to enable this feature to stop my girlfriend nagging about me not putting seatbelt on.

Does this use ABS sensor signals ala BMW?

I live in a desert, do I need this?

-Active foglights enabled
Is this the feature where the foglight on the direction you're turning lights?

also if you wanna get more features i think you might wanna upgrade to the 05+ Front SAM!

i have the beep to unlock/lock and my panic button still work you need to set it Mexico with Beep thats what i think my settings is on.. and you can also Raise the Volume on the Beeps... from 0% "low beep"-100% "loud beep"...

No, I had the dealer to program it for me when I took it in for a service.

there are a lot of those around, I happen to have 2 of them. (2003 and 2004.5).

You get a lot more features on a MB Developmental /Engineering DAS like the one that Steve (MBenzNL) has than you would at a dealership / indy shop.

Assuming they know where to find all the menus, and can do them all under an hour. Good luck !

Quick question can all w203's be programmed with tilt down mirrors when the car goes in reverse? I read a previous post where Mu9enx said he got it done to his car and its an older 203 like mine sooooo... chances are good that i can also get this feature? It would really help me to park so i dont curb my wheels.

it came standard with the car. i didn't get it program, but i love it, it helps out so much

my panic works but my car doesnt beep. all i want is for the mirrors to help aid when i park i think its very useful!

Mine beeps and my panic still works. I have the faster beeping (I prefer the older/slower beep, but oh well). Programming was done at the dealership. Total cost: $0.00.
