Question front lip question.

Since I have had 0 luck finding an add on front lip for my coupe's amg bumper, now I am in the process of making/modifying a front lip for it.
Just a question for those with carlsson/brabus/whatever front lip. How many screw do you guys use on the bottom to hold the lip in place? I am afraid that it would just fly off my car if I don't put enough.
Thanks.

depends on the lip. I helped mig888 put on his CF lip. we used 6 sets of bolts&nuts that goes through the bumper and fasten from the inside with the nuts.

My Brabus lip is very OEM friendly and actually wraps around the front bumper pretty snuggly, no bolts required. Just two push pins to hold it in place and double sided tape for added security. That lip looks very unique, can't wait to see how it comes out

So I end up just using 4 screws at the bottom and 4 on the sides + 3m tape on the top, seems like its holding up fine on the hwy.

NICE! Are you going to get it painted silver? OR leave it like that? Maybe you need to CF the lip like someone mentioned it before..

Your front is really low now..You'll scrap it pretty often

I am just going to leave it flat black. I have been scraping pretty much everywhere go, so I don't think it's worth it to get it painted or cf wrapped.

Really!? A Yaris lip!? Wow, believe it or not, I was thinking about that same exact lip to fit my bumper as well. I have a coworker with a Yaris and kept checkin it out, thinking that it is quite possible that it could fit my bumper. Good work man.

Yup, but it required cutting and quite a bit of reshaping.

At least it worked. How much did you pay for it?
