Curb Rashed The Hell Out Of A Wheel Now I Have A Question
I hit a pot hole yesterday I guess the right way and the right speed to just totally scratch up my lip. I have an extra wheel and I was just wondering since im not much of a tire wheel know it guy if I can just take the tire off the wheel and put it on the new wheel at any tire shop?

¡Si, señoir!
I would check the tire to make sure you didn't make any gooseggs on the side or any other issues before having it remounted, though.

Yes I did that, it looks all good from what I see. So remounting isnt a problem? Lol nvm, I now understand your spanish lingo. Si means yes. I'm an idiot.

Yes, I'd definitely get it balanced after the tire's on. Especially if you're not sure of that wheel's history, ie, you bought it from someone else.

Yes Ill have to get it balanced. Its a brand new rim that I got when i bought all 4 because the tire shop was discontinuing the wheel and they gave me their last one for free just in case. It isnt balanced so Ill have to do that. how much should mounting and balancing cost at a regular wheel shop for just 1 wheel and tire?

pookie where do you stay at in michigan? the roads here suck. It was such an innocent pot hole i didnt even see it, probably about 4 inches wide by 5 inches long and the side of the pot hole was just a straight edge because it was where the two lanes meet, and I merged and I guess the wheel dipped in there and when it came out since i was merging it scraped the lip up pretty bad on the straight edge of the pot hole. I was so pissed, like I think i'd have the same feeling if someone kidnapped a new born baby from me in the hospital.

It cost $7 just to have to balanced!
Normally when the tire is mounted to the wheel they have to balance it at the same time; which is about $20.
