i'm getting better at the stick and i had a chance to really punch it tonight to see what my coupe could do. i hit an empty espressway that runs around peoria at about 3 in the morning tonight with noone in the car but me. i didnt' get it too fast, only about 90-95 but man was it a blast. this car is smooth as butter once you get up that fast. i'm lovin this car more and more everyday. and i love the michelin pilot sports. they stick like glue to the road. so much fun.

This may sound goofy and dumb, but isnt it a great feeling to turn off the ESP, put the window down, floor it, and run through 3 or 4 gears?

yup, althought i havne't turned the ESP off yet. what does turning it off do, just let you spin the tires?

i'll go out right now and take some pics of the xenons.

I dont know what it does for the launch, I dont have anywhere that I can safely do a drag launch... but for the 1-2 shift it lets you make a clean "chirp" and it wont kill the power. I kept having these really bad shifts, and I thought it was just my lack of skill, but in fact it was the ESP robbing me of power.
