Another door handle question....

Hi Guys and Gals,
I have the non-C7 door handles which I initially liked because of the contrast of the black on the orion blue. What I don't like is the way wax accumulates on the porous surface of the black handle, because it looks bad. For some reason, I thought the C7 handles were metal and therefore would not have this problem. When I asked my service rep about replacing the handles he said that the C7 handles were also plastic and that the only difference was that they were the same as the body color. So my question is, do you C7 owners have the same problem with wax smudging the door handles on dark colored c coupes? I don't remember any complaints from the C7 crowd in this regard. Thanks,
Deb

no that doesnt happen because the C7 handles are painted the same as the body- they are not porous exposed plastic. wax still gets stuck in cracks and crevices tho and can be a pain to get it all out and is noticable esp on dark cars.

avoid the wax residue problem

Try using Zaino instead of your regular car wax. Another advantage of Zaino, in addition to the shine and durability, is that it does not leave any white residue.

I use Zanio now, but one of the reasons I liked using P21S wax, is that it does not turn black plastic white

Thanks, Guys, I'll try a different wax. Much easier than replacing or painting the handles.
