W203 and cruisecontrol (display set speed?)
Hi Everyone,
Is your W203 showing current, set, cruise control speed - like "limit"? I had this in BMW and I've seen it in new E class.
Is it matter of an update (SAM?) or I have to buy a new Merc? (W203 B
)

The speedometer always shows current speed. When in cruise control mode the car is limited to set speed. I think what you are referring to is not available on US spec C class....you can set a maximum limit and the car will not exceed it?

No, what I mean is I'd like to see the speed which I'm setting up like limit speed - so when there is orange small light on the cruise control thingy, speedometer is showing speed every time I'm moving this thing - like 20 -25 -30 -35 mph etc
In BMW which I had (5) I could set cruise control speed by 10 miles and SEE current, set speed on the speedometer (or display) - in same way I can see LIMIT speed.
I hope that makes sense now.

btw. I'm in Europe so I do have EU version of W203.

When I had my 05 C230K, there was not a digital display of the cruise control speed selected nor was there any visual indication that the cruise control was engaged. When I had an 06 c class loaner, there was a short digital message that indicated that the cruise control engaged and at what speed it was set to.
