infected's Coupe

I've given up on it and have enough saved to buy another car, just trying to determine what I want. I'd really like something with the flexibility of the hatchback, yet nothing really inspires me. My motorcycle is faster than any car I could buy, so I might buy a Jeep.

Another blast from the past. Things have taken a bit of a change in life and the Coupe is staying. It was steadily being parted out at first but to make a long story short my life flipped 180 degrees so I've decided to keep this going as long as possible. I've picked up some new parts for it and will start to document the process again for the new features this year.
In the meantime, a friend recently sent me some pics from 2011 that I never knew existed until now. Hope you guys like them...

Car's looking great - I really do love how the rims look. Do future plans involve more track time, or will the car be more a daily driver? I have to admit that I'm afraid to do any driving events in the Benz.

Thanks Tommy! Unfortunately the local track just got torn down so I'll have to start looking into alternative venues. The new plans still revolve around track prep so it should be a pretty interesting season.

I went through your whole thread (for the first time ever)....very nice read and nice pictures documenting all the work you've done to your C-Coupe. I quite like your current "track" look.
It's also very nice to see someone enjoying their C-coupe on a track/road course. I've always wondered how good of a track car a properly modified C-coupe could be. The ligher weight and shoter wheelbase should be advantages over a similarly powered W203 sedan.
Do you have any in-car videos to share with us when you were on the track?

Thanks guys. One of the pics shows me using a gopro but I never did upload and refine any of the videos. That'd make for an interesting task when the opportunity comes along.

Yep that's the one! The other wheel was just a standard so I opted for this one. It's a night and day difference compared to my current wheel.
Price wasn't bad though, I thought it was very reasonable. I had been looking for a wheel for years and could never find a Brabus wheel. I so by chance found this one on ebay just recently so I swooped it up right away. Quality is top notch in person and I'm super happy with the purchase.
Just have to wait for the other interior pieces to arrive before I start installing everything.

You should be glad my cf Brabus wheel finally got done, then.
I tried to lowball Renntech on that same wheel when I thought I'd never get the Brabus one back. Would have probably paid full price too eventually.
Enjoy - it's a good looking wheel.
