AC problem warning
My 05 c230 AC has always cooled down the driver side slower than the passenger side.
I took it to Beshoff motors twice over the last 2 years and they could not find the problem.
This time, I took it to Smyte and they finally found the root cause to a leak. The service guy said they could not find it at first but after i insisted on the issue, they kept the car parked for 3 hours in the sun and started it and noticed a 10 degree difference between the vents. After running a tracer dye, they found the leak.
Good thing since i am 2000 miles from the end of warranty..
if you have a similar issue (i.e. difference in temp between drive and passenger vents), insist on a tracer dye to find the leak.
