Rear Axle CV Boot Big Problems With Dealer
My car spent a week at the dealer shop 2 weeks ago having the out-board CV boot fixed on the right side. They ordered a new one from MB, but the part that came in was not right. So they ordered me a $200 used rear axle for that side ($800 new) and said that if it wasn't good they wouldn't put it on the car.
So I get under the car yesterday and the inboard CV boot is pierced and shooting grease all over the underside in its circular pattern. I've called the dealer and said I will be there first thing Monday morning. I figure this better be a freebie.
