i never liked the 7 too, S class ftw! just giving details about options

the 7's front end always looked like trash to me, pre-facelifted looked like a dumb whale, and facelifted just doesn't look good period. it is a smooth luxury tourer though.

on a side note, why do a lot of online reviews choose the 7 over the S? it's a conspiracy i tell ya!

edit: the A8 looks bland to me. sorta like a bigger, older model passat. the 2009 model looks refreshing though!

for the price the 7 beats out the S, that's why. what they don't take into consideration is that if you're spending that much on a car, then an extra $5-10k isn't going to hurt you.

i don't remember the price review/points, but i do remember the B7 vs the S63/S65 [one of those two], the bmw led the looks department by 2pts! the S definitely looks better and much more aggressive, well at least imo, haha

I would look for something nice, such as an E55 or whatever it is. But I am purchasing a new car, not used.

I've been thinking, the Lexus is...comfortable but... the interior dash looks very... Japanese and not to mention, I hate the shifter, it looks cheap! The 535xi with the Steptronic automatic, looks uber sex. I just have to figure out roughly about how much it cost! Eventually, I might end up getting a Lexus and saving the money up to replace the coupe soon.

not bad...for your family. personally i'd take the 535, but for your pop or mom...the GS is probably better.

well, I'll most likely be having the car, but you know, once your parents get old, its tough to climb into the back of a 2 door! thats why a 335xi coupe is not even considered

but, my father likes the 535 as well. We are leaning towards the 535, unless the lexus dealer gives us a irresistible offer

I'd definitely take a Lexus GS over a 535. I personally don't like the look of the 5-series unless it is moded or has the M kit. The GS is a nice car and I think would be a better family car for the long run. The BMW 335 is a really nice car too and that would be my choice, but might be a little cramped with the entire family.
